Ajith Kumar's love for racing began at a young age. He used to watch Formula 1 races and dreamed of becoming a racer himself. In 1990, he made his racing debut at the Formula Maruti Indian Championships. However, Ajith Kumar faced a lot of challenges during his early years as a racer. He didn't have the financial resources to pursue his passion and had to work hard to earn a living. He worked as a mechanic in a garage during the day and trained for racing at night. In 1994, Ajith Kumar participated in the Formula 3 championship and won the championship in the South Indian category. He continued to participate in several racing championships and won several awards and accolades.

But Ajith Kumar's racing career was cut short due to an accident that he had while he was racing in Germany. He suffered from multiple injuries and had to take an extended break from racing. However, it was his role in the movie 'Vaali' that established him as a leading actor in the industry. Throughout his acting career, Ajith Kumar has delivered several memorable performances in movies like 'Mankatha', 'Arrambam', and 'Vedalam', among others.
